Year 6 (2021-22)

Welcome to Year 6!

A year filled with thrilling opportunities, tons of hard work and memorable times together as a class. This year we will be delving into fascinating topics such as World War II, the Maya and South America.

SATs are a significant focus throughout the year but will be balanced with the wider curriculum and opportunities for all pupils to shine in their given talents. I am passionate about encouraging pupils to grow, not only academically, but also emotionally and spiritually so that they leave Bollinbrook well-rounded, confident individuals ready for new challenges.

In Year 6, children are given ‘Homework Diaries’ to help develop their independence and organisation in preparation for high school.
