I was born in Lancashire and moved to Cheshire in 2002. I have 3 children and a beagle called Poppy. I enjoy walking with my dog, particularly in the Lake District where I have family. I also enjoy reading, travelling, going to the theatre and completing jigsaws. I have been teaching primary school children for 25 years and enjoy my job because every day is different. I am particularly enthusiastic about global issues such as plastic pollution, climate change and sustainable development.
