My two children attend Bollinbrook. I am really appreciative of the opportunity to work closely with the school, to play a small part in helping ensure the best education for all pupils at the school. I am enjoying my role as part of the teaching and learning committee.
I have been a teacher for over 20 years, most of them being at a secondary school in Macclesfield, where I lead my own department.
Away from education I am a bit of a nerd, enjoying photography; before my children arrived on the scene I was an active member or Macclesfield Camera Club. To satisfy my creative urges now I grab any free time I can to ‘make’ things. In my makeshift work shop I have recently built and racing drone and an arcade machine.
