I am delighted to have secured my first headship at Bollinbrook school. We have a wonderful family here and it is a privilege to be a part of that. I have been teaching for over 20 years and love every minute. It is the best job in the world and I am so grateful to be doing something that I love. I have a background in SEN and also Theology and English. I am an assessor for the Inclusion Quality Mark team and get to go and see the wonderful work that other schools do in developing an inclusive ethos. My Christian faith is an important part of my life and one that has led me to Bollinbrook. I am blessed to be working here and excited about the future that lies ahead for the school.
Away from Bollinbrook I have a daughter who keeps me busy but still manage to have time to watch my beloved Everton FC (well no-one is perfect!). I love going on walks especially in the Yorkshire Dales and enjoy challenging myself to learn new sports – I am currently having golf lessons. You may see me out on the Adlington Course from time to time!
